A Star Auto Glass provides auto glass replacement, auto glass repair, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration, insurance claim management, and mobile auto glass service in Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties in Florida.

All services are subject to a physical inspection and assessment of your vehicle. We reserve the right to decline a service request if the job falls outside our scope of expertise, if safe completion is not possible, or if conditions are unsuitable (such as weather conditions for mobile service).

Service Estimates and Pricing

Quotes provided by phone, email, or through our website contact form are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect your vehicle and verify insurance coverage (when applicable). We will communicate any difference between the initial estimate and the final price before work begins.

Insurance-Covered Services

Many windshield replacements in Florida are covered at no cost to the customer under Florida Statute 627.7288, which prohibits insurance companies from applying a deductible to windshield repairs or replacements under a comprehensive policy. When you authorize us to file your insurance claim, you authorize A Star Auto Glass to communicate with your insurance provider, submit documentation, and collect payment directly from your insurer on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your policy includes comprehensive coverage.

02 Your Responsibilities

When you request service from A Star Auto Glass, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your vehicle, including make, model, year, and any known pre-existing damage or issues
  • Ensure the vehicle is accessible and available at the scheduled appointment time and location
  • Follow all post-service care instructions provided by our team (including keeping tape on the windshield for at least 24 hours after installation and allowing the minimum cure time before operating the vehicle)
  • Notify us promptly if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment

Failure to follow post-installation care instructions may affect the integrity of the installation and may affect warranty coverage.

03 Warranty

A Star Auto Glass provides a lifetime warranty on workmanship for the original purchasing customer for as long as they own the vehicle. This warranty covers defects in installation quality, including improper adhesion, leaks caused by installation error, and calibration errors attributable to our work.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, road debris, weather events, or vandalism after installation
  • Pre-existing damage or fault codes documented prior to service (disclosed to the customer before work begins)
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow post-installation care instructions
  • Normal wear or natural glass degradation over time

04 Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for the limited workmanship warranty described above, A Star Auto Glass provides services and information on this website "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, including service descriptions and educational content. However, auto glass and ADAS calibration requirements vary by vehicle make, model, year, and trim level. 05 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Florida law, A Star Auto Glass and its owner, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our website or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the services we provide shall not exceed the amount you paid (or that was paid on your behalf by your insurance company) for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

06 Pre-Existing Conditions

Before beginning any installation, our team performs a pre-scan of your vehicle's electronics using Autel diagnostic tools. This scan identifies pre-existing fault codes and calibration issues that exist before our work begins. We document and communicate these findings to you before proceeding.

A Star Auto Glass is not responsible for pre-existing issues documented before work begins. If a pre-existing fault code or condition is identified, we will explain the finding and your options before any work proceeds.

07 Scheduling and Cancellation

We do our best to accommodate same-day and next-day appointments. Appointment availability is subject to technician scheduling and parts availability. We will confirm your appointment and communicate any changes as soon as possible.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible at (941) 893-7353. Cancellations with less than 2 hours notice for a confirmed appointment may result in a rescheduling fee at our discretion, particularly for mobile service appointments that require travel to your location.

08 Use of This Website

You may use astarautoglass.com for lawful purposes related to learning about or requesting our services. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access systems, data, or areas of the website not intended for public use
